Welcome to my Dale Murphy Collection. Although
I have been slack for the past 10 years, what you
will find here is the continuation of my childhood
dream to own as much Dale Murphy Memorabillia
as possible. I can hear you now...."why?" I don't
want to bore you to death, but it started when I was
in about 4th grade. I remember watching a few
Braves games on TBS while my family was staying with my grandmother one
summer. Of course, Murph was about the only thing worth watching on those
mid '80s Braves teams. I always felt I could predict every time the Murph
would hit it out of the park, and once I predicted right. That same summer, my
parents let me go up to the little league fields to watch some baseball one night.
I went to the concession stand and bought my first pack of baseball cards
ever....1987 Topps. And can you guess whose card was in the pack?
The obsession begins!
